        My apologies, RZ, but I have been working on my own fic. I've only read a few chapters of both fics. I'll read them eventually, though. I like what I've read so far!

        And you got to see MCCARTNEY?! I'm jealous...did he perform songs from both The Beatles and Wings?

        It was just a two song encore of I Saw her Standing There and Twist and Shout, but it was pretty damn baws. Went to a Springsteen gig and he got Tom Morello, John Fogerty and Puar McCartney on stage with him for different songs. Was a good day.

      It could be worse- at least I call it the Seal War :mock: Lex reckons Imprisoning War is better as it's Nintendo's own localisation... I see his point to be honest, but Seal War is easier to type!

        Yeah, Legends Alliance is a pretty cool guy. But Lex has a point- that's not a mistranslation or NoA-invented bullplop, it's just a localisation decision. It would be like saying Cuccos shouldn't be called Cuccos because in the Japanese they're just called their own word for chicken.

        Legends Alliance is the forum for Zelda Legends, not a person.

        The original version is closer to ''Seal War'', and since the translaters there are fluent in Japanese, (one of them actually IS Japanese) I'll go with ''Seal War'' over Imprisoning War anyday.

        I love the fact that they took the time to translate the REAL ALttP manual.

        I know what Legends Alliance is... it's meme- 'pretty cool guy'. It's only ever used if the thing is NOT a person (it originated from 'Halo is a pretty cool guy')

        And the original version is 'chicken', not 'cucco'. But it's not a translation issue, it's a localisation issue. Like Byrne and Staven!
