Not dead yet. When I get deja vu it links to the other moments of deja vu and sometimes it goes forwards and then it mostly ends with like a scene of me collapsing. Having an irrational fear of dying young (which is probably why I can be like a hypochondriac sometimes) doesn't help my cause.
I had a dream I met Nathan in real life. But then we got arrested and went to a weird prison, and escaped. It only got weirder from there.
I had a dream last night (or rather this morning) that I met the actors of Marble Hornets. The guy who played Slenderman was one of the nicest people I've ever met in a dream. Oh and for some reason OlgaKay from youtube was also there *shrugs*
I had a great dream last night... Easily the longest, most complex and lucid dream I ever had. The dream actually had chapters (seems like I dreamed about the same story all night long), and swifted between two sets of protagonists. The setting was a sci-fi space station, owned by a fascist, militaristic government (kind of like the Empire from Star Wars, minus the Force, and planet-blowing super-weapons... Or maybe I should compare it to the Terran Dominion, plus some Nazi-like racism ). This station included, among other things, a Military Academy and a prison. The dream started focusing on the first protagonist, a cadet who's a student in the aforementioned Academy. It started in media res, with an attack by a rebel faction/warring government (the nature of the conflict was never really specified) taking place. The cadet helped in the fighting by preparing ships. After the battle, the focus shifted to the second group of protagonists, a bunch of around 8 prisoners (at least one of them was actually friends with the cadet) exploiting the chaos caused by the battle to try an escape. They ultimately fail, and get thrown back in jail. From that point on, several other scenarios happened, and I can't remember about most of them clearly by now (even though I could when I woke up)... The cadet would some times cover for the group of prisoners, and sometimes would mind his own business (at least one conflict with a "rival" happened), and the prisoners would do all sort of sneaky stuff to get some privileges, with or without the cadet's help. When I woke up, I was really surprised by the fact I had just created such a great story (well, such a concise story, at least) when I was sleeping I also had an awesome night of sleep, despite being sleeping in a rather uncomfortable place
I had a dream last night that I was in the town of my favorite vacation spot, going to drink alcohol for the first time at a bar/pub thing that strongly resembled my favorite restaurant there. It was late at night and I leaning/hanging on the edge of the floor of the bar's balcony by my elbows and armpits with the drink in front of me. It looked like a transparent tub of ink. Then I thought "No... I don't want this.". So I tossed it aside, spilling it on some guy's foot while not caring, and jumped down from the balcony onto the ground. Then I had to go to my cabin vacation house through the woods. Woods where one might get lost. On a bicycle. Guided by some thing that... I forgot what it was. In it, there were chain-linked fences showing the paths, strangely. And the paths were covered in grasses and weeds, and had altering heights and levels. Between these paths in the fenced-off areas, the terrain was flat, green, and grassy with few noticeable weeds. Surround the whole area were hills and actual woods. In some places, there were bears the thing and I had to recognize or remember to discover the way. I woke up when I arrived home.
Nah. That was actually a true story. I recently had a dream that people were turning into zombies. At the beginning I was terrified. But soon before waking up I and some other people went out armed. I think I had a bat (or something else wooden) and a radio. It might have to do with me watching that new series, The Walking Dead.
A fair number of my dreams are about zombie attacks. Most of the time when I dream it's either some epic adventure or pants-wetting terrifying. Not in the fun way either. Just "I WANT THIS TO END NOW PLEASE D:>" terrifying. But the "epic adventure" dreams are like the one where I was in a Varia suit and in a several hour long battle with Kraid. Also pretty terrifying actually, but ridiculously fun as well. I suppose it all nearly evens out. But still slightly in favor of the terrifying.
I had the strangest dreams, lately. OK, so I live on a farm/ranch. And there's normally a ghetto barbed wire fence that leads to the the pasture/field and corrals for livestock. But in this dream, the fence was suddenly made out of nice metal. Er, sort of nice. It was more expensive than the last fence, but the metal was pretty rusty. As for the corrals, there was a medium-sized hole in a corner of them near the fence. And cattle could escape from it. And they did. Not only that, but they were super intelligent and witty. They could even escape past that new metal fence and run around me... Mocking me. Last night, I dreamed that in Majora's Mask, there was another form Link could become... AGGRON LINK!
That is indeed strange... It reminds me of a dream I once had where I was in a library, and suddenly I looked down and saw that my legs had been stolen. From my position on the floor I looked about for a book about what to do in such a situation. Luckily one just happened to be in arm's reach. I read it and it advised that I wait patiently for someone to return my legs. And that's where I woke up.
I had another weird dream. In my school (it was more like a mix between my current school and my last school), there was some kind of... Thing in the building. I'm going to say it was a psychopath with a gun. But we didn't perform the regular code blue lockdown procedures. Instead, everyone was desperately running through the halls and across the front area to get away. This guy must have meant serious business. But I stood in the middle of the halls wondering what everyone was doing. When the halls were cleared, a few people I know from around called out from the side to get over where they were, follow them, and run. As we ran through the halls, more people gathered as we searched for a safe haven. Then we stopped and heard the horrid scream of someone of we knew. "OH MY GAWD, THEY GOT [NAME]!" We had to find shelter and make it out alive. This was the real deal. Life or death. Should you fail, it would have been all over. While typing "gawd", I made a typo and said "gard". Sounds like a new meme.
Interesting dream, Asobu. I know what you mean; dreams can provide perfectly convincing life or death situations. Years ago I decided that in the event of a nuclear strike I would run toward the explosion to make my death as quick and painless as possible. One night I had a dream about just such a situation and in that dream I remembered that conclusion I'd come to long ago. And then I learned something about myself: I would run away from the bomb. No matter how close it is, I would always run away.
About a week ago I dreamt I was in this weird.. apartment thing and the people inside there were partying. They weren't "people." They looked uncanny and weird, but I just can't find the words to describe them.. Well, you know the way a doll looks? Uncannily like a human, but at the same time not at all? Yeah, sort of like that. Artificial, plastic, like a mannequin almost. I felt immensely creeped out, I felt like I needed to get the fuck outta dodge so I walked out the door and I found myself in a long hallway. And I mean, immense. It looked like it went on for miles but I got to the end of the corridor in seconds. At the end of the corridor were two doors, one on my right and one of my left. My best friend in real life was standing there, she hugged me and told me she loved me before going into the door on my right. I tried that door and it somehow locked. I opened the door to my left and lo and behold, fucking darkness. Pitch black. I went inside the dark corridor and I walked for what felt like hours. Suddenly, I heard screaming behind me, sort of like the "horde incoming" noise from L4D. I ran. I ran as fast as I could. Eventually I tired out and stumbled. I couldn't see shit but I just knew it was those those fucking weird "people" from the apartment. I literally felt like they were tearing me apart and biting into me. At that point I woke up. And this one isn't as weird but oh well. Happened about a month ago. I was standing in a black void but I could "see" myself smoking a cigarette. When I exhaled the smoke sort of "stopped" in front of me until it formed a large cloud. The cloud reformed itself into an apparition that looked like the traditional form of the grim reaper. The reaper swung it's scythe at me. I woke up. That would make a good anti-smoking ad, scared the shit out of me. I only remember my nightmares for the most part, if I have dreams that aren't nightmares I can really only remember blurry fragments of them.
I dreamed with a lot of strange stuff today... I mean, really strange... My memory is all fuzzy, though...
I barely remember anything about my dream, but I think I remember Ace86 becoming champ of the pokemon league. Maybe I'm on this site too much...
Basically, the door gets locked, if there are windows, the blinds are shut, the lights are turned off, and students hide in the corner of the room in hopes that an unauthorized intruder doesn't find them.
