I wouldn't consider Stadium, Colosseum, or ΧD to be spinoff games; they stay within the boundaries of RPG gameplay that the main series has. I never really cared for spinoff Pokémon games. Mystery Dungeon is kind of cool, though... I guess.
Pinball for Gameboy Color was the shit. Pokemon Snap was a great game, but I finished it on a rental. Worth the price to rent it, not worth a buy. I loved the trading card game as a kid, so I revived it as a drinking game in college. It was a success. And of course, I always enjoy 3D pokemon battles. Here's hoping that the next one will be better than PBR (which still had its merits, despite all its flaws).
Mystery Dungeon is one of the most entertaining spinoffs I've played. Hopefully the release a new one with the new Unova pokemon in it.
The Mystery Dungeon games were very entertaining for me, though I have to admit that the 100 floor dungeons were tedious, especially when they did a 'monster house' which killed you on the 98th Floor. The Colosseum/Gale of Darkness games were great aswell, and while I don't Gale of Darkness, I do own Colosseum and can say that the story wasn't too great... They really need to create a spinoff game which is just as good as the main games.
I really like the pokemon ranger games. It's cool to "catch" pokemon by drawing circles around them and avoiding the attacks. The story in the ranger games is always very cool in my opinion. Catching those legendaries is very amusing because they have strong attacks. My heart pounds a lot faster when I'm catching one. The mystery dungeon games always were one of my favourites. I own the first one myself which had a good story mode. Walking with a pokemon for the first time was awesome. I played the explorers of time and sky myself too, but I don't own them. I didn't want to spend €40,- on a game for it. I had a flashcard so I could download it anyway. I always liked the story mode of the games and the fun to try to obtain the legendaries is always a big adventure. I have to say that 100 flours is way too much but you just to have to be lucky to get to the stairway in a few seconds.
To be as good as the main games, if would have to be a main game. But if Colosseum and ΧD count as spinoffs, then they're still awesome.
I simply meant that I wished they would create a spinoff game that was as good as the main series, or to a similar standard. A game that provides the same amount of entertainment and enjoyment as the main games.
WHERE IS MY MOTHERFUCKING POKEMON TROZEI HOW THE HELL CAN I POSSIBLY LIVE WITHOUT MY ROBOTNIK'S MEAN BEAN MACHINE RIPOFF WITH POKEMON HEADS
Trozei is a masterpiece of human endeavour, and deserves to be on any list regardless of what it's about. Favorite game poll? Pokemon Trozei. Favorite Color? Pokemon Trozei. Fetish? Pokemon Trozei.
/Bunch of words that disparrage your argument so I can but this at the end of my sentence: ANYWAY, continuing: I've never seriously played any of these games, but my younger brother played the Explorers of Time game so much when he was younger that the music has been permanently engraved into my memory. So that gets my vote.
Ah, knew I forgot one. You should add Trozei as part of the Puzzle League answer, so it'd be: Puzzle League/Trozei
