In the new Nintendo power magazine, it is said that Ghirahim talks about resurrecting his master! Who could this be? Someone we know or someone entirely new? Do you think Ganondorf in OOT be a reincarnation of this master, and that is what is meant by his rise to power in OOT being elaborated upon? This would mean the multiple Ganon theory is correct and that he can reincarnate. If it's not Ganon do you think it will be a new evil, or something mentioned in other games e.g malladus?
The fact Ghirahim wants to resurrect his master is old news. And Ganondorf is not exactly the reincarnation of Demise, he's the result of a "curse" that starts the cycle of battles between a hero and a princess against the demon kings. Ganondorf is not really as much of a reincarnation, he's simply another character filling the same role, the same way all Links fill the same role.
Well, Demise says its his own pure hatred taking on a new form. That sounds like reincarnation to me...
I don't think it's a reincarnation of Demise, but an incarnation of his hatred. I don't think it's actually Demise cropping up, just manifestations of evil and hate throughout the kingdom. Also- true fact- when I first saw the name of Ghirahim's master, I thought it said 'Denise', as in the girl's name, and since then can't unsee it. For a while it was like Denise and Debbie hanging out having sleepovers painting toenails and comparing boobs and boy stories.
I think the incarnations of Demise's hatred are not that different from the Links in nature. Not necessarily the same soul coming back over and over, but different people being born with the characteristics of the "hero" and the "demon king", perpetuating the conflict. I didn't misread it, but I definitely thought of this
