As you can clearly see, my name is Majora's Cat. I'm on quite a few forums (including Zelda Dungeon, Faggery Daggery Doo, Zelda Temple, Portal to Hyrule and Legend of Zelda.net), but I've decided to experiment a little and join the ZI forums. Now discussion on Zelda Dungeon has sort of slowed to a halt, and it's very hard to find a thread that I actually like these days. Because of these shortcomings, I've decided to branch out and see what goes on here. Now I know that Zelda Dungeon and Zelda Informer aren't necessarily on the best terms, I hope to make friends here and hope I'm not judged for which forum I came from. Now a little bit about myself: I'm 14, and I have had a passion for The Legend of Zelda for a few years now, and just got into the forum environment about a year ago at GameSpot forums. After spamming, I was permanently banned. On the rebound from GameSpot forums, I joined ZD and spammed in the same manner I did GS. I was able to stop doing that after 320 posts, and I have 580 posts now. I've put almost 90 hours into my first save file of Twilight Princess (which was my first Zelda, by the way). While I have an unconventional love for the Zelda series, I'm not really big on gaming. I'm more of a researcher by nature than a person who actually plays the games, since I have higher priorities. I became somewhat interested in ZI after meeting SAY HELLO TO THE PREDHAMMER on ZD almost a year ago. I made good friends with him, and he told me of his "adventures" here at ZI. Anyway, I hope I can participate in lots of discussions on the boards and perhaps even participate in Theory (if I don't get run over by the amazing Theorists here).
Welcome. Don't worry, it's users from FDD that we eat up. ZD folks are not really an issue. The rivalry between the two sites (the bad part) was cleaned up awhile back. While I don't want you to spam for the sake of spamming, being extremely active is naturally a bonus, and I hope you have a lot of interesting thoughts and ideas to add to our already hefty theorizing area.
I know what you mean. I've tried to be active in their writing sections over there myself, but I ended up getting drowned out. Kind of a pity, really. Welcome to ZI, hope you enjoy your stay. :>
