Have you tried using a Staff, Kenta ? A charged shot from a Staff can reach almost anyone on the map, and with auto-reticle you won't miss most of your shots. They're also extremely deadly as they can kill a player in 2-3 hits if it's a good staff. Way better than clubs.
Yes, I have... but I won't call it "way better than clubs". Despite their relatively slow charging time and slow movement speed, clubs have longer range and better homing than most staff. In addition, a club's charged shot can pass through walls/floors/ceilings and typically deals more damage. A good club can KO players in 1-2 hits... in ranged or melee. That being said, I'm currently working on a Staff with ★6 range/+4 Standing charged shot. Some speed and/or stamina would be nice, but I can always use Lightweight or Warp to move from one place to another and snipe opposing players. I'm torn between Flintlock (faster shots) and Laser (longer range), but Scorpio Staff's movement speed & poison bonus is also very attractive.
Are you sure clubs have more range ? I thought staffs had the longest range of all weapon categories.. Even if they're not better than clubs, they're still more fun to use.
Most of them do. Clubs can shoot massive spheres from across the map, and it will follow the target - unobstructed by walls/floors/ceilings - until the target either outruns or cancels the shot. The only staff that can rival the range of most clubs is the Laser Staff... but it's still inferior compared to Earthmaul Club's range.
It depends on the specific weapon you're using. For example, the Earthmaul Club has the longest range of any weapon.
We really need more players... Right now, we have 5 active players (me, ASL, Error, Game Over, and iAsobu). Gestalt was interested at first, but he's always busy. WM and SD are supposed to join us "soon", and Wily is thinking about buying the game... but we need to recruit MORE (I bet Swimmy will be pretty good with this game). If we have more players, we also get to play more often. I'm sick and tired of playing with and against crappy players online. We also need to schedule another online match. Why are you always available to play whenever I'm at work...?!
Whay are you always at work when I'm avalible? But tomorrow I'll be there if anyone else comes or not. That aside, I might be able to set something up staurday or monday, but I won't know much untill it comes closer to the time.

I should be available all day, but it's probably a good idea to post your availability (1100 to ??? CST) so other players can participate. Unfortunately, we're down 1 player because Error's 3DS is still broken. We can only hope that ASL and iAsobu are both available to make it at least 2 vs 2. If WM and SD decide to join, we can have a decent 3 vs 3 match. By the way, 1100 CST = 1600 GMT.

My Magnus club has two stars on each stat and I kick some serious ass. Protip: It's how well you use the weapon, not the stats.
