I just want to see the system specs, games, and when it's coming out(probably won't get a date at E3 though).
I would really like to see Nintendo unveil a new IP. I feel as if the nostalgia for franchises such as Zelda and Metroid are waning on a current generation of kids who are growing up on Call of Duty and Rockstar games. I'm not saying these two franchises are terrible (as I love both..with Zelda being a definitive aspect of my childhood) but their appeal could be simultaneously linked to the amount of sci-fi and fantasy films in the 1980s and the anime explosion of the late 90's. Now that those two pop culture movements have passed, those who did not grow up during those decades are likely to not be able to understand the appeal of these franchises like those who grew up with them. They need some fresh new faces for a new generation of children and man-children alike. Hell, even rebooting forgotten franchises like Mach Rider could be interesting. Kid Icarus was a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. (also fuck Star Fox. I know everyone feels as if they should bring the franchise back but it's a relic from another time. Much like Sonic the Hedghog, Star Fox embodies a set of aesthetics and gameplay mechanics rooted in 1990's children entertainment which look outdated, archaic and cheesy to a modern audience.)
