Essentially, have these boards been dead lately? I am trying to get a general consensus of what is going on with each forum, what we can do to boost activity, and more importantly... are the forums themselves dying out?
I think we're just in a slump. E3 will boost things, especially if a new Zelda rocks up, but it's simply that Hh gave us the timeline, SS has come and gone- there's not much to do at the moment. It'll pick up again, it's a dry spell I'm sure.
The whole forum hasn't really been active much. A couple months ago, when i wake up from a whole night's sleep there would be at least 2 new pages on every thread and the carrot cakes has 5+ new pages.
I figured summer we'd pick up a shitload of new members and posts. But apparently, the kiddies have better things to do besides playing Zelda these days...
It's nearing the end of the school year for a lot of us, and final exams are coming up, so there just isn't a lot of "spare time". I've been spending most of my time lately just studying (or at least trying to) and filling out applications for university, loans and jobs. ZI isn't top priority for me like it normally would be.
So you're obviously not part of the "people who are still in school". Oh yeah, and the real cause of the deadness of the SRS BZNS boards is that Voo wants to "take a break" from it 'cause he's a little bitch and Pinecove isn't here anymore. Gestalt is also busy with other stuff, like article-writing, and RZ... I'm not sure, he just doesn't post here often anymore. And Lex is all like "oh, I'll just pop in on rare occasions like some badass warrior ghost". The rest of us can't start conversation. So there you go.
OMG, you guys are turning into ZL! I think Argents right. Maybe a lot of us are just busy. That and it's a pretty much a dry spell as Zelda topics go. So... At least it's not ZL. We lucky to have one or two new posts per months. Heck most of the members at LA forget ZL exists.
We aren't like ZL because... *cough* - ZI is actually still rather popular. The forums wont die out as long as the site is popular - I just want to increase the activity around these parts. Ideas?
Banning LSB. Not really, though. But guys, do I really need to start posting 50 theorizing threads a day?
A theory of the week thing might be good. Come join the forums and let's see if we can solve x insignificant non substantial trivial theory idea in seven days. Eg: are all Links related, How does Ganon revive between OoX and LoZ, Why do cuccos have such crazy powers etc.
