Undercover Kids. Not Spy Kids, but literally a movie called Undercover Kids. My mom brought it home one day for family movie night and we couldn't even watch all the way through. It was truly miserable. Track it down if you dare.

    It will make you weep.

Sounds like one of those knock off movies they get out whenever blockbusters hit.

    Truly horrible.

The entire mockbuster industry is pretty bad. Except for Sherlock Holmes, apparently.

Avatar: Mediocre plot, drags on, only good part was the visuals.

Batman and Robin: Made a mockery of Batman as a character.

    Batman 66: See above.

Planet of the Apes remake: Ruined the artistic integrity.

High School Musical: Teenybopper bullshit by people who can't sing.

No. B66 disrespected Batman's noir roots.

    Yes, you can.

There is no way you didn't enjoy Batman 66.

Also if you've ever read an early Batman comic you know how campy and gay it could be even back then. Even before Robin.

Absolutely. All comic books used to be campy and gay. The whole kind of noir comic book thing only really started relatively recently.

Batman was noir based when first created. Haven't you read the 40's comics? He used to even carry a gun and kill people, something Modern Age Bats doesn't do. It wasn't until the Comic's Code kicked in that it turned stupid until the mid 70's. Glad that shit has passed now.

Yeah but badasses with guns in the 40s are almost nothing like modern badasses with guns. Batman wasn't like the Punisher, he was a detective in a friggin' bat costume. He's insane and he always has been.

Also I hope Batman and Guns are never combined again.

The original Batman comics were incredibly dark and very noir, yes - but fuck if the Adam West version isn't the best adaptation out there. :P Seriously, I find a sort of kindred spirit with the writers of that show - I feel as if they have they same trolling spirit as me.

''Best adaptation'' my ass. I can't even stand watching five minutes of it. It's the show that lead to the misconception that Batman and comic books are for kids. For that alone, I'll forever hate that show. Batman isn't supposed to be a lighthearted comedy, it's meant to be a dark tale of a man torn by the death of his parents who fights crime to make sure noone else has to suffer the same loss.

Modern Bats is also a detective in a Bat costume. Doesn't make him any less of a dark character.

Guess I don't have one, then.
